About Troop 625
Boy Scout Troop 625 was first organized in 1969. The Troop is part of the Cherokee/Pickens District, Atlanta Area Council which covers the north central region of Georgia. We are chartered by Little River United Methodist Church, located at 12455 Hwy 92 East, Woodstock, Georgia. While the Troop is based out of a Methodist Church, people of all denominations are welcomed and encouraged to be involved.

We hold meetings at the Little River UMC Fellowship Hall every Tuesday evening from 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm. Troop 625 follows a "no school, no Scouts" policy. This means that if Cherokee County Schools are called off on a Tuesday, the Troop meeting is also called off. This holds true for all scheduled school holidays except for summer vacation. In order to join, a youth must be 11 years old -or- have completed the 5th grade -or- have earned the Arrow of Light award.

Feel free to contact us with any questions. We thank you for your interest in our Troop and hope to hear from you soon. Even if you don't join our Troop, we hope that you become involved in a Troop near you, and that your days in Scouting are memorable and rewarding. As members of our Troop say, "Some Scouting is better than no Scouting!" Come and enjoy the adventure!
